About the role

This is a permanent community Occupational Therapist role supporting older adults (75+) to live safely and independently in their own homes. You’ll manage a localised caseload under My Home Care Packages, completing functional assessments, home modifications, and recommendations — all while working from home with no daily office requirement.

Your schedule is structured, realistic, and supportive, with approximately 30 billable hours per week inclusive of driving, documentation, and case management. Any hours above this are paid at an additional hourly rate.

You’ll be supported by a collaborative multidisciplinary team and enjoy genuine flexibility across 3–5 days per week.

  • Deliver community OT services focused on safety, independence, and function
  • Complete assessments, reviews, reports, and home modification recommendations
  • Work autonomously with strong MDT support when needed

Skills & experience

  • Registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • 2–3 years’ experience ideally in community or aged care settings
  • Confidence completing home assessments and functional reports
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (allowance or hire available)

Benefits

  • Salary up to $108,000 p.a. + super
  • $8,000 car allowance or car hire available (~$150/week)
  • $5,000 fuel allowance if using your own vehicle
  • Additional $50/hour paid for billable hours above target
